Export Adobe Illustrator to Houdini
Abstract
This Adobe Illustrator CS2 script exports the active document to a Houdini compatible EPS file.
Installation
To install the script in the Scripts menu, place it in the Scripts folder (Illustrator CS2 > Presets > Scripts).
Usage
For predicatble results convert all textframes to outlines before running the script.
Browse to the directory you want the file be saved in and enter a filename.
In Houdini drop a fileSOP and load the exported file:
Known Issues
Illustrator didn't regocnise Illustrator3 settings set by script - Japanese Illustrator 3 is used instead.
This
may lead to compatibility problems on some systems.
Not testet - not confirmed.
